Dharamshala

Dharamshala
Dharamshala:  With three days to go for the finest cricketing action of Indian Premier League (IPL) season-IX at Dharamshala, excitement is already in the air in the town after the arrival of the Delhi Daredevils team, which is all set to practise in the stadium on Saturday. The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA)’s enthusiasm was however dimmed on Friday by the news that Tibetan Spiritual leader Dalai Lama will not be seen during the May 17 match.
Dalai Lama’s close aide Tenzin Takla said, “Two days back, we had informed them (HPCA) about the inability of His Holiness to be Chief Guest at the match.”
Sources said the Dalai Lama, who will be reaching Dharamshala from his foreign trip only on May 16, doesn’t accept any invitations for at least one or two days after he returns.
