Tony Fernandes

Tony Fernandes: Air Asia and Team Lotus leader Fernandes confirmed on his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that he has made an offer for the recently-relegated Hammers.
But this was quickly dismissed as a publicity stunt by Gold's fellow co-owner, David Sullivan, just hours after they had appointed Sam Allardyce as West Ham's new manager.
When speaking live to Sky Sports News, Gold was equally surprised by the claims of Fernandes, but did not rule out the possibility of talks regarding possible investment from the lifelong Hammers fan.
When informed of Fernandes' Twitter claim, Gold said: "That is news to me. I certainly haven't heard any information regarding this. It is interesting."
Asked about the possibility of investment in West Ham, Gold said: "We are interested in finances coming into the football club. We welcome that.
