UGC NET: The National Eligibility Test (NET) 2012 will have objective type questions. Reports state that NET will have objective questions from this year onwards.

NET is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC). Students passing NET will be eligibile for Lectureship in universities and colleges across India.

Students are invited to submit online applications for National Eligibility Test (NET) 2012 for lectureship.

The exams will be held on Sunday June 24, 2012.

The online application submission date is April 30, 2012 and the last date of receiving the documents at the respective test centers is May 7, 2012.


Students need to visit www.ugcnetonline.in for online applications and can send their queries to support@ugcnetonline.in.

The exam is held twice a year i.e. June and December. The eligibility criteria is a Master’s degree with minimum 55 percent marks.
