Bhindi Bazar: Director Ankush Bhatt's upcoming project 'Bhindi Bazar' featuring actors K K Menon, Pawan Mehrotra and Catrina Lopez, Jennifer Lopez's supposedly cousin, is all set to hit the big screens next month on the 17th of June, but in a surprising revelation the producer of the movie and die hard Allahabadi, is seriously thinking of doing a premier of this movie in his home town too.
"As of now, we have just decided to do the premier in Mumbai and Dubai, but given that I love this city a lot, I am planning to do a premier here also in my home town," reveals this debutant producer Karan Arora, who is also the chairman of the company, 'Picture Thoughts Production' which is producing 'Bhindi Bazar' on her recent visit to the Sangam city.
Shot at the crowed locales of Bhindi Bazar in south Mumbai, which is also the epicenter of crime, the story of the movie unravels the quest of a small time pick pocket, who strives hard to rule the world of crime. Besides, the promos of famous item number, 'Akkad Bakkad Bombay..' which will see some wonderful dance moves by Catrina Lopez, have already created a buzz in the market in the last couple of days.
Written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali and Kapil Gulati, the movie will also give opportunity to a number of new comers to showcase their talent. "We have given opportunity to 6-7 new faces in this movie. Initially, I wanted to give actors from Allahabad an opportunity to act in this project, but unfortunately that couldn't happen," Karan further adds.
